In what’s been a busy few weeks for Ministerial visitors, Brewarrina Shire Council was pleased to welcome NSW Minister for Agriculture, Minister for Regional NSW and Minister for Western NSW, Tara Moriarty, to town on Thursday May 1.

Brewarrina Shire Council General Manager David Kirby said it was great to catch up with the Minister again and update her on the significant infrastructure projects which are set to benefit the region for years to come.

“We are committed to building a vibrant and modern community, fostering economic growth, improving infrastructure, and supporting sustainable development initiatives that caters to the diverse needs our community. The ongoing support from Minister Moriarty, state bodies and grant providers, are invaluable in helping us achieve these goals,” said Mr Kirby.

“Minister Moriarty was pleased to hear our extensive Main Street makeover had reached the next milestone, with the detailed design tender expected to be awarded soon. She said she was very much looking forward to seeing upgrades when work was completed.”
