“Big Sky Library” is a partnership between Moree, Walgett and Brewarrina Shire Councils.
The Brewarrina library operates at 57 Bathurst Street, and you will find the entrance to the library on the right-hand-side before you enter Council’s front foyer.
Opening hours are:
Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 4.00pm. Closed for lunch from 12pm to 1pm.
Saturday from 10am to 12pm.
Brewarrina Big Sky Library has a number of services for you to enjoy. They include:
· FREE membership, just ask for a membership form or apply online
· FREE use of phone and tablet chargers
· FREE Wi-Fi use
· FREE use of computers
· Borrow books, DVDs and audio books for FREE
· A self-service function available to customers to borrow books at your leisure
· Peruse newspapers, magazines and other periodicals
· An iPad table
· Children’s activities, including board games and a Lego table
· Use of a HTC Vive virtual reality headset connected to some great programs
· A large LED screen
· A printing service: 70c per page for black & white prints, $1.50 per page for colour
· A cool and calm place to relax!

Did you know?
· You can temporarily join the library online, just come in to collect your membership card!
· You can borrow e-books and e-magazines online and download them at home on your phone or tablet. Once you’re a member you don’t even have to come into the library, you just access the Big Sky Library website
· Once you have borrowed a book you can renew the loan online and save yourself a trip to the library.
· You can reserve a book from any one of Big Sky Libraries and it can be sent from another site to us, ready for you to pick up and read.
· If you’re a student and need to access a reference book, magazine, newspaper or periodical on-line, you can do so from the Big Sky Library website
· The website has a facility called “know what to read next” – with a little bit of information from you it will make recommendations on what books you may enjoy reading next.
